The pie charts reveal the change in the proportion of the populations with three different groups of age of Yemen and Italy in 2000 and projections for 2050.
Overall, in 2000, while the figure for group 1 (0-14 years) accounted for the biggest point in Yemen, the same figure in Italy was seen decrease quite considerably. After 50 years, both Yemen and Italy, the percentages of group 2(15-59 years) remain ahead of the others.
In 2000, the percentage of group 1 in Yemen was the biggest rise, at over 1 in every 5. The opposite was true for Italy that the rate of people owned 15-59 years was higher than for the remaining two groups, at 61.6 percent. While the percentage of the populations in group 3 (60+ years) in Italy made up 24.1 percent, the same figure in Yemen experienced small point, which lower 8 times than that in Italy.
In 2050, the proportion of people in group 2 of Yemen witness an upward trend, growing approximately 11 percent. By contrast, the rate of group 2 in Italy decrease slightly, from 61.6 percent to 46.2 percent. People were 60+ years of Yemen is still the lowest rate, just 5.7 percent while the rate of the same age in Italy see a significant increase at 42.3 percent.
