The given line graph illustrates how many visitors travelled to a particular Caribbean island over the course of 7 years, starting from 2010.
Overall, the numbers of tourists in total, staying on cruise ship and staying on island witnessed an upward trend. It is also evident that for most of the time, cruise ships are the preferred accommodation before island became more popular.
The year 2010 witnessed about 0.25 millions of travelers who stayed on cruise ships. The figure experienced some soft fluctuations between 250.000 and 500.000 visitors until 2003, followed by a soar to 2 millions of tourists in 2017. The similar trend was observed at the number of visitors staying on island which stood at approximately 750.000 in 2010. The figure reached a plateau at 1.5 million of travelers in 2013, which is also the highest point in 2017.
In total, there are 1 million of visitors travelling to a Caribbean island in 2010, which saw a remarkable rise of 1.75 million in 2016. The number eventually reached the peak of 3.5 million of visitors in 2017.
