The given chart illustrates the destination of anthropology bachelors from a college after the acquisition of a tertiary degree. The following table reveals their earnings after 5 years’ work.
As can be seen clearly from the chart, more than a half, 52%, of anthropology students found full-time jobs after graduating. While 15% chose to be part-time workers, 12% of anthropology graduates were unoccupied. Whereas, the number of degree’s holders continuing pursue higher education full-time and being unknown were equal at 8%, followed by 5% who were working part-time and attending higher education at the same time.
Regarding salaries of anthropology bachelors, freelance and government employees witnessed the same pattern at the number of former students gaining $25000-49999 and $50000-74999 for 5% and 15% respectively. However, freelance consultants have fewer graduates landing high-paid jobs at over $100000 than the government sector with 40% and 50%. On the other hand, there are no striking features in terms of graduates working at private firms, the largest group is those earning $50000-74999 at 35%.
In conclusion, the chart and the table show us that most anthropology bachelors are employed and their salaries were more than $25000, irrespective of graduates’ kind of jobs.
