The maps below illustrate the information about the Islip center at the moment, and plant for future development. In general, there are several improvements in the center of the town after the development.
It could be easily observed from the first map that, housing is located in two areas, in the center of the map, near shops in the south, between the school and park site. The other shops are built along the main road.
In comparison with the Islip the center now, in the planned development, the town is upgraded. The location of housing is replaced by shop. Next to the shop, people have established an area for pedestrians only. Along the road, the shopping center is constructed between bus station and car park. While the site for school remain the same, a part of park is expanded for new housing. There are three areas of housing, in the north-east, the west and the south, next to dual carriageway, surrounding the town center.
