For some people, shopping is not just about buying what is necessary, but a form of entertainment. Do you think it is a positive or a negative development?
Give your opinion and examples from your experience.
In recent times, many people believe purchasing necessities not only their daily essentials but also consider as a form of recreational activity. This essay will agree with this trend as a positive development because of the development of supermarkets and giving them a broad way of maintaining their health.
Nowadays, Individuals do not have enough time to spend on buying their basic things because of their hectic scheduled, so that they tend to choose a place where they can buy all things together with their near and dear ones. Also, shopping malls contain not only their required products but also serving an abundant variety of enjoyable activities. Therefore, people prefer to go shopping in such places where they can buy and fun activities together. For example, compared to the past time, most young ones prefer to go on shopping with friends and families to big malls as they can have huge facilities such as dining together, watching a movie while acquiring their products.
The other reason supporting this trend is they can maintain their health with doing this activities. Because such kind of locations are spread in wider areas , so that to acquire all things they have to walk for a longer time that eventually assist them to keep them away from detrimental disease like obesity. For instance, it was published in one of the articles that the young ones who are visiting supermarkets at every weekends have a good health and its works as stress buster process for them.
In conclusion, although shopping activities needs more time to consume, it has a plethora of benefits which cannot be neglected. I believe that authorities should create more places like this with new facilities that not only can save person’s valuable time but also give them a chance to have fun.
