City Council is planning to pull down one of the historic building in your town because they do not have funds to renovate it. As citizen , you don’t want it to happen. Write a letter to the city council and in your letter, say:
What is the importance of the building
Why should it be renovated
Suggest a plan to raise funds and maintain building in future.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter in regards to the demolition of a historical building near to my resident. it is a 200 year old premises with beauties of ancient time carved on it. I suggest to please try and preserve the establishment so that our coming generation can see the art from our history. we are also ready to provide you with any possible support in terms of fund raising, etc. to save the building.
The building is a 200 year old establishment and is one of the oldest in the city. Moreover, it is built with ancient architectural plan and is a perfect example of enriched history of the city. The premises can be kept as a monument of ansestorial generation and it will surely enrich the ethinicity of the city.
we can add the building in the list of historical monument of the city and can be added into the history lessons at the schools. In future, the schools can also plan a tour for its students to visit the building and learn about our history.
I have also, spoken with many people about this thought of mine, and they have also agreed to pay a monthly fee to preserve of this cultural display. All the individuals of the city can pay a minimal fee and that can be deducted from their monthly maintenance bill for the maintenance for the building.
I look forward to your supportful reply.
Your's faithfully,
Sweta
