The map below is of the town of Garlsdon A new supermarket S is planned for the town The map shows two possible sites for the supermarket
The given map details the plan of constructing a supermarket in two possible locations in the town of Garlsdon.
Looking from the overall perspective, it is readily apparent that while one of the sites is proposed in the town-center, the other possibility lies in the country-side.
According to the given illustration, the Garlsdon town with population size 65 000 lies in the middle of the map with two industrial units to the north and its opposite end. The first proposal is planned in the middle of the town center, located in the center of the main town. Also, this site will be approachable to the town of Brandson(population 15000, 16 km to the south-west of the town center), and Cranston(with a double population, 25 km to either end of the Brandson) through the main road connectivity.
Furthermore, this site will be nearly 12 km far from the Hindston town(population 10 000), connected via railway track, and extended further to join the Cranston town. However, the other site location is proposed to be constructed in the countryside surrounding the Grandson town to its north-west end,
which will be comparatively away from the town center.
