It is evident from the charts, electricity generation in Germany, the highest type was conventional thermal at around 59.6% due to the all type of resources, whereas the next higher generation in nuclear type at approximately 23%. According to the renewable, biomass and wind were far higher than others, at just around 39.3% and 36.9% respectively, but much less at 17.7% for hydroelectric and 6.1% for solar. There was no given data on geothermal in Germany by 2009.
In contrast. according to the all resources, nuclear was far exceeded compared to other two types which was just over 75% in France by 2009.
