You bought a concert ticket. However, you are unable to go, so you decide to offer the ticket to a friend.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
- Tell your friend the details about the concert
- Explain why you are unable to go
- And explain how your friend can receive your ticket
Dear Amee,
I hope you are doing well during your semester at McGill University. I have been missing you since we met last March.
Do you remember the last time I told you that I always wished one day I would be able to go to the concert of Big Bang? They are my favourite K-Pop boy band, and I also know that we share the same passion for them. And can you guess what, they are going to hold a concert this Saturday evening at Bell Center, near my place, quite amazing!
I was so excited when I learnt this news that I immediately bought a ticket. But unfortunately, I forgot that I have to attend a meeting with a client from Europe. But due to the different time-zone, the meeting is at night, so I couldn’t go to the concert, that is very disappointing for me. But anyway, are you free around that time? If you are able to go, I will be more than happy to give you the ticket.
If you can make it, come to my place on Saturday morning. We can have a little chit-chat and enjoy lunch together. Moreover, Bell Center is only 5 minutes away, so it will be convenient for you to go there.
I know you won’t refuse this offer since this is also your dream, so see you on Saturday!
Your friend,
Kevin
