The future means of household power generation is depicted in the given diagram.
Overall, it can be seen that in the future, every house will be able to produce energy on their own. The process is expected to start from the composting of wastes and will end in the consumption of energy.
Firstly, in the future system three quarters of a steel tank will be filled with composts such as leaves, food, scraps and water. The compost is then fermented and methane gas is formed. Using pipes the gas will be moved to a methane storage facility. Through tubes the gas is then shifted to a compressor where it will be compressed.
In the next stage, the compressed gas is transported to a combustion engine. Mechanical energy from the engine is transferred to a generator, where it will be converted to electrical energy. Then the energy is shifted into an electric energy storage. Finally, electricity from the battery will be used for household purposes.
