You want to sell your TV. You think a friend of yours might like to buy it from you. Write a letter to your friend. In your letter:
• Explain why you are selling the TV
• Describe the TV
• Suggest a date when your friend can come and see it
Dear Tom,
Hope you're well. Congratulations on your recent graduation! I heard that you're moving into a new place closer to your office and I was wondering if you'd be interested in buying my old TV for your new place.
I've recently moved to a new apartment myself which is not so far from yours. My new place has a larger living room than my previous one so I need a bigger TV that would be appropriate for space. I was planning to buy a new TV and selling off the old one and you are the first person who came to my mind to get in touch with.
As you know, I have always been fond of video games and my old TV, therefore has the best picture quality suitable for displaying high-end graphics. It's a 50 inch 4K smart OLED TV from Samsung and it's in pristine condition. While there is a small dent on one of the HDMI ports in the back, it doesn't affect the aesthetics of the TVat all, nor does it affect the functioning of the HDMI Port or the TV. It has the original remote control with it and I'll even throw in an HDMI cable and batteries for the remote to get you up and running fast.
Although I've been very busy at work lately, I have some time next weekend. How about you come over to my place then and check it out? If you like it, I'll even help you carry it to your place. I'm planning to sell it for $200, which is less than half the price I got it for.
Do let me know if you'd be interested. You can call or text me anytime if you're curious to know more and to let me know when you'd become. I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours truly,
Tejas
