Overall, it is evident that the number of citizens aged 16 to 30 was the highest over the given period. Besides, this age group saw a downward trend in the proportion of mobile usage.
Starting at 53%, the statistics of 16-30 year-old people using mobile decreased tremendously to 44% in 2000. Meanwhile, the figure for mobile usage by people aged 31-50 took the second-largest percentage with 41% in the initial year. There was a minimal fall in the number of people aged 31-50 using mobile to 37% in the final year.
In contrast, the data on mobile usage of the remaining groups was much lower. People who are less than 15-year-old experienced an upward trend from 2% in 1998 to 9% in 200. Similarly, there was a small rise in the percentage of people aged more than 50. This proportion stood at 4% in the first year, growing up to 10% at the end of the stage.
