Your family is going to move to another town. Write a letter to the Principal of a local school asking if they will accept your son. In the letter:
• explain why you would like your son to attend this school
• describe his past academic achievements
• describe his current interests
Dear Sir,
I am Shreyas Parab, IAS government officer, and I transferred to the Mira-Bhayander region for the next ten years of my service. I am writing to request you for granting admission to my son, who has recently passed 2nd grade from Ryan International School, Nagpur.
Since St. Xaviers High School comes under the same group as Ryan International, I guess there won't be any transfer issues. As the curriculum is similar, it would be better for my child to cope with the studies.
My son's name is Akshay Parab; he is brilliant with his academic records. He has recently cleared the Maths Olympiad Grade I exam as well with the Grade A+. Moreover, he is an active sportsperson, has represented his school football team at district level winning glories for the team and personal achievements.
He would like to continue the same passion for football and also to clear the competitive exams as per his intelligence.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Shreyas Parab
