You have just finished your master’s degree and need to leave your current part-time job to search for full-time employment.
Write a letter to your current employer. In your letter:
– explain why you will not be able to pursue a full-time job in his/her company
– say why you’ve enjoyed working for him/her
– tell him/her how much longer you will continue to work for him/her.
Dear Sir,
I hope you will find this letter in the best of health and happiness. Recently, I was searching for a Data Scientist Job as I completed my master's from the University of British Columbia.
I wanted to become a data scientist for the past half-a-decade. And, I got the opportunity of an interview with the top-notch analytics companies who are working on new applications in the respective of artificial intelligence such as automation in automobiles, and robotics. Surprisingly, I got selected in Goggle as a Data Scientist Engineer in Seattle. Therefore, I have to leave Toronto in a month.
I was really happy working under your mentorship and guidance to handle the clients and got the industry level of knowledge in creating, maintaining, and analyzing the database infrastructure. This kind of knowledge as a Data Architect in your supervision at your firm was extremely fruitful knowledge which I have gained from you. However, I have to leave and grow more with my upgraded skills, and as you said earlier, the sky is the limit, and I am going to work in the major's league. I am so grateful for your guidance and mentorship.
I can stay for a week to complete the pending project which I have to finish before my resignation. Therefore, I will be staying for a week and will complete the last project in this firm under your supervision to keep some beautiful memories of your guidance.
I am looking forward to hearing a positive response.
Yours faithfully,
Shwatank Bhasin
