The process below shows the procedure needed for transforming plant and animal-based waste into fertilizer which could be then used for farming. Overall, there are five steps: from the beginning with an empty plastic vessel to a final compost product.
As mentioned above, the first step is to acquire an empty container in which to begin a chemical reaction of turning waste into mulch. Next, the container is filled with discarded newspapers, grass clippings, and food scraps to a level of nearly one third.
After that, nitrogen and hot water are added to the mix in order to initiate the transformation from useless waste, to a useful and fertile substance. The top of the container is then covered and left in the heat for up to six months. The result is a batch of organic compost that could be taken out for growing fruits and vegetables in the home garden.
