The line paragraph illustrates how the birth rates in two countries China and the USA over a 80-year period, starting from 1920.

Overall, it can be seen that the birth rates in both nations saw a downward trend over the period shown. Moreover. The birth rate of the USA was higher than that of China in almost years.

In 1920-2935 period, the birth rate in the USA fluctuated, although it remained above 10%. However, in the following decade, the America birth rate fell sharply to below 5%, at which point this figure started to rocket and ranked top in 1950 with 15%. Throughout the remainder of the period, there was a gradual decline in the US birth rate, which fell to 7% by the year 2000.

Over the same period, the birth rate in China varied more significantly than that in the USA. It dropped to 5% from 1940 to 1945 before reaching the highest point the whole line graph, 20% in 1950. However, 5 years later, the birthrate in China decreased sharply over 10%, falling to approximately 2% in 2000.
