Overall, the majority of units of electricity were produced from coal in Australia in between 1980 and 2000, meanwhile, nuclear power made a large amount of units in France in year 2000.
Now turning to details, in Australia, total 100 units of electricity were produced in 1980, in which, coal made 50 units and hydropower and natural gas both manufactured 40 units. However, oil was also used to make 10 units of electricity. In addition, in 2000, the total count of units produced was 170. In that year coal was used to make 130 units, whereas, oil and natural gas make 4 units. Moreover, 36 units of electricity were manufactured by the use of hydropower.
Aside from that, in 1980, France produced total 90 units of electricity where coal and natural gas was used to make 50 units.furthermore, oil, nuclear power and hydropower sources made 20,15 and 5 units, respectively. On the other hand, in 2000, France manufactured total 180 units of electricity.One third of the units were made from nuclear power, whereas, oil and coal produced 50 units as well as hydropower and natural gas sources made total 4 units of electricity
