The following table shows the average age of students at a college, and how happy the students were with their course.
The two given tables illustrate how pleased the certificate and diploma students were with their classes, and how old these students were at a college on average. Overall, it is apparent that diploma students felt almost opposite about their courses with certificate students, who also tend to be younger than diploma ones.
To begin with, most certificate students were very pleased with their classes, about 73 percent as compared to diploma students, only 5 percent. Moreover, the diploma students tend to feel unhappy or very unhappy (about 42 percent and 41 percent respectively) much more than certificate students (only 10 percent and 1 percent). However, the percentage of both types of students, who felt happy towards their courses, was roughly similar – 16 percent accounts for certificate students and 12 percent accounts for diploma ones.
In addition, while certificate students have least percentage at the age groups of 35-45 and over 45 (1 percent and 2 percent respectively), diploma students only have smallest percentage of students at the age group of 45 and over (only 1 percent). On the other hand, most certificate students fell into the youngest age group (about 79 percent) whereas this trend happened in the age group of 25-35 for diploma students (at 62 percent). As well, the other age groups between certificate and diploma students share almost the same figures: 18 percent of certificate students were 18 to 25 years old, while 17 percent and 20 percent of diploma students were 15 to 25 years old and 35 to 45 years old respectively.
