The provided table illustrates the ratios of pupils attending four secondary school types between 2000 and 2009. It signifies pupils percentage attending these four school types.
Overall, most people visited voluntary-controlled schools and community schools, while few attended specialist schools.
With reference to the most attended school, which are voluntary and community schools. In the year 2000, the former school is being attended by 52% of pupils. In the following five years, the trend for pupils attending voluntary schools slides down by 14%. Additionally, for the next four years, the projections fall down to 20% of pupils attending these type of schools. For community schools, pupils visiting them rise by time. For the year 2000, people visiting there are twelve percent, but in the next nine years, the proportion of pupils visiting there become five times of the former proportion.
Few people attend specialist and grammar schools. In the year 2000, nearly 12% pupils attended specialist schools, the proportion begins to slide about two percent in the upcoming nine years. On comparing with grammar school attendees, in the base year approximately 24% pupils visited there, but with growing number of years proportion of people visiting these schools become half of the previous proportion.
