The provided line graph demonstrates information about the foreigners who visited England and the residents of the UK who went abroad while the bar graph depicts that the most five popular countries that were visited by Uk residents in 1999.
Overall, It can be observed from the line graph that the number of visitors traveled to and from the UK with the passage of time in the ratio of millions and the bar graph depicts that France was the most preferred country by Britishers.
To begin with, From 1979 there were about 11 million residents of England who visited abroad while there were approx 10 million visitors who visited the United Kingdom. After 1979 the number of visitors increased gradually. In the year 1989, Almost 20 million residents of the UK visited abroad but there were only near 12 million visits to England by overseas residents. Furthermore, From 1984 to 1999 the number of travelers increased tremendously too and from the UK and reached around 28 million and 53 million respectively.
However, In 1999, France was visited by over 10 million UK residents, followed by Spain at approximately 9 million. Moreover, The USA and Greece had about 4 million and 3 million visitors from England respectively. The least popular country visited was Turkey which had only about 2 million Britishers going there.
