The graph shows the percentage of Internet users in three countries from 1999 to 2009.
The line graph represents the comparison of the percentage of people who used the Internet in three particular countries, namely the USA, Canada, and Mexico in ten consecutive years beginning from 1999.
At the first glance, it is clear that the proportion of the population in all three given countries had a tendency to go upward over the years. In general, the greater number of Internet users appeared to be in the USA and Canada compared to Mexico in which fewer citizens had access to the Internet.
In 1999, the USA witnessed the highest point of Internet users' percentage which was about 20%, followed by Canada and Mexico with 10% and 5% respectively. In the middle of the above period (2005), people of the two countries, Canada and the USA, who are in use of the Internet increased to approximately 70%. Meanwhile, the figure for Mexico was still around 25%.
By 2009, the number of Canadian users took over the proportion and peaked at the highest point of all three countries with almost 100% of the population as opposed to nearly 80% of Americans and just about 40% of Mexicans.
