Overall, it can be seen that all the figures experience an upward trend. The percentage of people who use the internet in the USA is highest initially and then surpassed by that of Canada, while Mexico’s data is the lowest figure throughout the years.
In 1999, the rate of Internet users was 20% which is the highest figure at that time and then grow rapidly to approximately 80% in 2007. Similarly, the data in Canada also experience a significant increase from 10% to 90% in 2017 whereas that in Mexico increased slowly from 10% to over 30%.
By 2009, the proportion of those who use Internet in Canada reached the highest figure in the chart with 100% ending the period at 1st while that of the USA registered the lower rate at over 80% and Mexico is 40%
