The blueprints illustrate the development of a particular movie theatre has altered over three years, from 2010 to 2012.
Overall, the cinema expanded sideways, adding more free spaces for the establishment of more facilities.
The building’s main entrance on the south side and the central section are the two features of the playhouse that remained relatively intact, with unchanged seating quantity in the auditorium. While the stage’s position remained fixed, its dimension was expanded, creating more performance spaces. Moreover, several adjustments were made to the building’s layout such as the relocations and conversions of some original amenities and the construction of three new areas: the hall, the shower, and the restaurant.
The storage on the top left side was moved to the opposite edge, replaced by the media and the showers. A hall was added at the back of the stage, aimed to develop the performers’ preparation zone. In 2010, there was a café right next to the entrance. However, in 2012, this facility was substituted by the ticket office, and the coffee shop was then replaced by a larger restaurant laid in the left rear corner of the theatre. Finally, due to the establishment of the bistro, the administration office was moved to the extended left corner.
