The pie charts illustrate the proportions of student’s responses to a questionnaire about the range of books and non-printed material in their university library.
Overall, most postgraduates responded that the range of books was lousy, the undergraduates were divided in their responses. The availability of non-printed materials such as computer software, online journals etc. was brilliant for undergraduates but half the postgraduates felt the library’s non-printed material was just satisfactory.
Most undergrads responded that the range of books available were impressive or satisfactory, 39% and 29% accordingly. Only 32% of them were not happy with the range of books. 55% of them also answered that the non-printed materials at the university library was fantastic, followed by 33% being satisfied and only 12% of the students were not happy of the non-printed collection at the library.
The responses given by postgraduates on the range is books was steep at 65% indicating that materials were not good at all. Only a mere 15% of postgrads felt that the collection was great and the rest of 20% were just satisfied. On the non-printed material, nearly half of them were just satisfied and the other half were divided on their responses; 25% were not okay and 27% of them found it to be very good.
