The chart below compares the responses of undergraduates and postgraduates to a questionnaire on their opinion about their university library. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features and make comparison where relevant.
The pie charts indicate responses to a survey for postgraduates and undergraduates regarding the range of books and non-print material available in the university library. The choices included very good, satisfactory, and not good.
Majority of the postgraduates were not at all happy with the range of books in the library while most undergraduates felt the range of books were very good. More than half the undergraduates were happy with the non print material available to them at the university library, whereas almost half of the postgraduates were just satisfied with it.
Most undergrads responded that the range of books available were impressive and satisfactory, 39% and 29% respectively. Only 32% of them were not happy with the range of books. 55% also answered that the non-printed materials at the university library was fantastic, followed by 33% being satisfied and only 12% of the students were unhappy with the non-printed collection at the library.
The responses given by postgraduates on the range of books was a whopping 65% indicating that materials were not good at all. Only a mere 15% of postgrads felt that the collection was great and the remaining 20% were just satisfied. On the non-printed material, nearly half of them were satisfied and the other half were divided on their responses; 25% were not okay and 27% of them found it to be very good.
