The charts depict the differences of the age structure between France and India populations in 1984.
As can be seen from two charts, the India population was younger than that of France.
First, for the young age group, the number of males and females in India was exceed than of France. Turning more details, for those aged from 0-15, the number of people in France was fewer than India both in male and female with the former occupying approximately 3.5% and the latter taking up around 6.5%. Another point taking into concern is that in the middle group, there was a similar trend in two countries with approximately 3.5-4% in both females and males for those aged 20-40. On the contract, for the elderly group, the French's inhabitant was higher than the India population. Specifily, in the age of 40-45, the number people in India was overwhelmed than France by 1%. Last but not least, there were a lot of people who aged more than 70 years in France which was not happened in India.
