The table demonstrates the social and economic indexes of Canada, Japan, Peru, and Zaire in 1994 according to a United Nation report.
Overall, as can be seen from the chart, the indicators of Canada and Japan were higher than those of the two other countries. Turning to figures, Zaire was the lesser developed compared to any other nations.
Canada’s annual wage per person was 11100, only second to that of Japan. Meanwhile, salaries per year of citizens of Peru and Zaire were 160 and 130 respectively. In terms of daily calorie intake/ person, Canada made up the most significant proportion, followed by Japan with 2846; while the figures of Peru and Zaire were less than those by twofold.
The adult literacy rate of Zaire was lowest while Peru almost reached 70%; simultaneously, 99% of the Japanese and Canadian were purportedly literate. In addition, the longest life expectancy was in Japan and the shortest was in Zaire.
