Some people think that childcare centers provide the best services for children of preschool age. Other working parents think that family members such as grandparents will be better carers for their kids. Discuss both views and give your opinion.
Opinions diverge on whether grandparents should not look after their grandchildren than give them to childcare centers. Although this sentiment can be justified to some extent, I am of the opposite stance owing to family’s relationship and assurance.
Admittedly, time-saving and peer relationships are two obvious core advantages of letting children to childcare centers. First, some parents are very busy with their work as well as they do not have enough time to look after their kids, so a childcare center is one of the best choices for them. Perceptibly, feeding, teaching and educating are parents’ inevitable tasks which take most of their time; however, childcare centers take over these things effectively. As a result, they can spend their time on other work, and have time to look after themselves. Second, childcare institutions offer a reliable environment for kids to make friends. Due to a large number of kids and physical and intellectual they can participate together so their relationships will be widened. This seems not to be achieved if they are looked after only by their family members.
Despite these aforementioned benefits, I ascertain that letting grandparents to look after children is better than giving them into childcare centers owing to assurance and family’s relationship. Conspicuously, It is safer for children to be cared for by their seniors instead of strange people, so children’s safety can be more assured. Additionally, the old can take care of their grandchildren more meticulously than childcare centers due to the disproportionate figure of toddlers. Besides that, kids can spend more time playing with their relatives and finding out about them; hence, their relationships can get closer day by day. One of the most clear discrepancies between children who are in countrysides and cities is the affections towards their grandparents; rural kids are more emotional with the elderly than the others.
By way of conclusion, notwithstanding advantages from childcare centers, family members are much better in looking after children.
