You have been renting an apartment in an English-Speaking Country. The landlord has been very helpful and friendly. Now you are leaving, and one of your friends would like to move into the apartment.
Write a letter to your landlord.
In your letter
Explain when and why you are leaving
Thank your landlord for the help
Tell him about your friend
Dear Mr. Ford,
I am writing this letter to inform you that my lease is expiring, and I will be moving from your apartment by the end of this month.
I have been selected for the role in the upcoming series on Netflix and the production house is offering me a lead role and shooting for the series will be around Seattle. As you know that Seattle is far from Surrey and travelling daily would be very difficult for me. I am planning to move on the 29th of November from Glory Residences (Apartment # 106), which is near Hawthorne Rotary Park.
You have helped me many times and I want to thank you for all your guidance. I remember that you helped me with information on how to find jobs and you also help me with your contacts each time I asked for help. It means a lot to a new landed immigrant, and I really appreciate it.
One of my best friends, (Mr. Manjunath) who is cinematographer from Australia, is moving to Surrey. I have explained to him about the location and convenience of this apartment, and he is interested in renting this place. If there is a change in the rentals kindly let me know, I could inform him. He will call and speak to you about the rental agreement tomorrow.
Thanks again for all your help, I will come into your office to complete the paperwork for moving out on Tuesday.
Regards,
Prakash
