The bar chart illustrates the percentage of Australian people who exercised physical activity regularly based on their gender and age in 2010. The initial impression is that the percentage of women who did physical exercise was considerably more than men in almost all age groups.
It can be seen from the graph that the percentage of men and women who did regular activities were in the age of 15 to 24 and 45 to 54 years old, respectively. However, the least percentage of Australians who cared about doing physical activities were 47.1% of men who were older than 65 and 39.5% of women aged 35 to 44 years old.
Evidently, it seems that the most significant difference between the percentage of ordinary activities in males and females is in the age of 35 to 44, which 52.5% of women exercised, that was 13% more than men. According to the bar chart, a similar percentage of both elderly men and women did physical activities.
