The following maps show some of the changes that have taken place in Dubai in recent decades
Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and making comparisons while relevant
These two maps compare Dubai in recent times and in the
past.
Looking specifically at the maps, it is apparent that there has
been a significant development in this famous and prosperous city.
One thing that is still unchanged until now is the city tower roundabout. However, a few trees have been planted around the edge of this
tower. And all the trees and plants along the street have been uprooted.
In the past, most of the spacious land were unused for any purpose. The
tall buildings are very limited and are nearly surrounded by deserts. However, present-day Dubai has
changed so much from its older days. In the second map, we can see that the main road has been expanded into a larger and more modern one. This facilitates the increasing traffic volume through the city and also shortens the time when traveling to another city. A myriad of skyscrapers has been constructed like international companies, hospitals,
modernized schools, and cutting-edge technological entrepreneurs.
Overall, in the contemporary days, Dubai is considered as the most luxurious city and a worth-living
a place for everyone to experience.
