The given maps show the evolution of a normal fishing village to become a big tourist resort with European style.
Overall, there were numerous significant change along with the growth of the poppulation such as the disappearence of the sheeps and goats area.
It is obvious that the sheeps and goats land has been removed as well as the olives, its area in 2004 was farmland which almost provided fruit and vegs for hotels. Furthermore, the village nearby was expanded and consisted of many tourist shops, the woodland has been developed into the golf course. The village to the north-east was the only one remained unchaged in the northside of the map.
Move to the south, the original village still there, it haven't been touched, but the boats and the harbour were not the same, they have been all knocked-down to made place for the beaches for the tourism. Along the main road, there are considerable number of buildings were built due to the exploison of the poppulation from 50000 in 1974 to 80000 in 2004.
