The maps provide a comparison of the state of an island before and after the erection of some visitor facilities.
Overall, the island has changed considerably with the introduction of tourism. Four main new features can be seen in the second diagram that involves the building of a restaurant, reception accommodation, pier, and some insignificant modification.
Looking at the changes in more detail, we can see in the first map there was a primitive island covered by trees. By contrast, tourists can access the island by boat easily now thanks to the construction of a pier. A restaurant is behind a reception, built in the center of the island, and both are accessed via vehicle track. Meanwhile, the hosing areas are only reachable by footpath, situated on either side of the reception.
Furthermore, a beach in the west of the island is upgraded for swimming activities. Tourists can walk along the footpath from the accommodation area to here. Notably, there is a part of the island in the east that hasn't been reclaimed yet.
