The two tables below show the number of international students from different resource countries in Canada and the USA in two school years.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The two given tables give information regarding the figures for overseas students in Canada and the USA in two separate schooling years from 2002 to 2004.
Overall, there was an upward trend in the international students in the America, while the opposite was true in Canada. Also, the total figures for the students in the former country surpassed those in the latter one.
During the two academic years in Canada, the general international students rose by 17% from around 60,000 to 70,000. The most conspicuous change was recorded in Chinese students, with 45% - triple the students from the USA. The number of students from India was ranked second at 35%.
The USA, in contrast, underwent a minor downfall during the two years, with the leaving of over 10,000 students. The figure for India students diminished by 9% in the second year, which was the main cause for the total change. The students from China and Canada experienced respective upward changes, at 6% and 7%. Interestingly, the percentage of Chinese students in this nation was about ninefold than that in Canada.
