In 2003, the percentage of movie-goers was 10% on Monday, a third of that on Friday and Sunday while it reached a peak of 40% on Saturday. Over the next 2 years, there was a marginal increase of about 5% on three continuous days: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. However, the year 2007 recorded a slight drop of about 3% on the same days and the highest point was nearly 44% on Saturday.
Looking at Tuesday, the number of cinema-goers was 20% but constantly decreased after 2 days and stopped at 13% on Thursday. Then, this figure rose considerably to 30% on the next day, which remained stable in 2005 and 2007. The proportion of people coming to the cinemas in 2005 decreased roughly from nearly 14% to below 10% on 2 days: Wednesday and Thursday. In contrast, that number over 2 years saw an increase of 4%.
