Overall, it can be seen that both examined Canadian institutions had an upward trend regarding the percentage of international learners over a 5-year period. Meanwhile, New Brunswick was the most preferred destination for studying abroad in comparison with other universities.
In 2001, about 7% of the total graduates in New Brunswick came from other countries, which was nearly twice that of Ontario pilpuls. After a half of decade, the portion between international and foreign students in New Brunswick increased sharply, at 12% in 2006, which was also the highest figure recorded from the survey. Similarly, the percentage of international graduates in Ontario institution was twofold that of 2001.
In terms of the remaining universities, the year 2006 witnessed significant growth regarding the share of oversea learners. To be more specific, the figure rose from 6% to 10% in Nova Scotia, from 5.6% to 9% in Quebec.
