The line graph demonstrates the number of guests coming to a Caribbean island from 2010 to 2017.
As can be seen from the chart, during the given period, the total quantity of tourists experienced a significant increase with most visitors choosing to stay on the island while the figure for those staying on cruise ships witnessed a substantial rise.
At the beginning of the period, the number of visitors spending their holidays on the island registered at around 0.75 million and remained unchanged for another year. This figure rose to 1.5 million in 2013 before experiencing a plateau in the next 2 years. In 2016, the number of guests staying on island dropped insignificantly to around 1.25 million, prior to recovery to 2 million in 2017.
In 2010, about half of 0.5 million visitors came to the and resided on their ships. 2 years later, this number observed a slight variation before rocketing to 2 million at the end of the examined period. A relatively similar pattern was observed in the total number of tourists coming to this island which increased substantially from 1 million in 2013 to 3.5.
