Overall. it can be seen that definite job was the most outstanding reason for people choosing living in the UK or foreign countries. Besides, the proportion of learners opted for studying in the UK surpassed the figure of students who decided to go abroad for learning.
In 2007, 30% of the total of immigrators to the UK for the purpose of definite job. Meanwhile, nearly the same amount of people decided to go overseas for the same reasons. The percentages of people immigrated to the UK to looking for work, and no reason stated were 12 and 6%, respectively whereas the figures for that in terms of emigrators were much bigger, at 22% for the former and 18% for the latter.
