The given pie charts illustrate the percentage of adolescents using their phone for different reasons in a particular nation in African from 2016 to 2019.
In general, it is clear that the proportion of teenagers using their phone for Phone calls and Email saw a descending trend whilst the opposite was the case for others.
At the start of period, the percentage of teenager using Social networks comprised half of total, followed by that of Email, at 25%. The phone was used for Digital camera was 15% of the total. The lowest data was Phone calls, just 10%.
Afterwards, the proportion of people using phone for Social networks dropped minimally to 48% in 2017 before increasing remarkablely to 56% in the year 2019. There was a significant fall in Email from 25% to 19% between 2016 and 2019. The number of teenagers using phone for Digital camera maintained at 15% from 2016 to 2017, followed by that there was a modest growth to 20% in two years later. Teenagers were likely to use phone to call less than in the past, just 5% in the year 2019 after increasing slightly in 2017 to 13%.
