You live in a room in college which you share with another student. You find it very difficult to work there because he/she always has friends visiting. They have parties in the room and sometimes borrow your things without asking you.
Write a letter to the Accommodation Office at the college and ask for a new room next term. You would prefer a single room. Explain your reasons.
Dear the Accommodation Office,
I am writing this letter to require a new room next term and it is better with a single room.
I share a room in college with my roommate. Innitially, it seems pretty hard for me to concentrate on learning and working. The valid reason for this requirement is that she always has her friends visiting and has parties all night long in the room. Additionally, my intense study schedules become even more occupied with tidying our room for her parts. As adaptability is an essential factor which every college students need, I can not stand her glaring behaviors any longer. Due to the fact that, she frequently borrows my things and even take its without my permission. All of these put a strain on my own life and have an adverse bearing on my academic performance this term.
Concerning this matter, my proposal is moving to a new room. In personal speaking, I suggest a single room because sharing a room with another students do more harm than good to me. It engenders some valid concerns about spending my limited time in the last semester on making acquantance with new friends and adjusting my own life to be compatible with her. Thank you so much for your attention. I look forward to hearing from you.
Your faithfully,
Uyen.
