There will be a plan to make your local airport bigger and increase the number of flights. You live near the airport and you are not happy about it.
Write a letter to your local newspaper, explaining where you live, describing the problem and giving reasons why you do not want this development.
Dear editor of local newspaper,
I am writing this letter with regard to place a complaint against the development of the local airport in efforts to make it bigger and increase the number of flights.
Actually, I and my family live near by the airport for a long time since my parents were in their 30s to the present when they are getting on a bit. Initially, if the airport decides to enlarge their facilities and schedules to purchase surrounding properties, our house will be influenced significantly. The reason is as my parents live here almost of their life, they struck up a relationship with neighborhood and went back years to when they had moved into this house. Therefore, when the airport plans to purchase all the houses surrounding for broaden thair facilities, it will benefit them but affect negatively on us.
Furthermore, as my parents settled down in early stages of their life that is immediately after falling in love and intending to tie the knot, I didn’t have any power to decide where I live until now. Because of that, I must try to hit the airport off, although it has disturbed me all of the time with the sounds from the airplaints, let alone the sounds from the people who come to the airport days and nights.
I would much appreciate if you can collect more information directly from my neighbors and convey our messages to a new articles in next issues of your newspaper. It will help our feedbacks could be heard by the local airport managers better. I think the best way to solve the problems is replace it with a better one.
I await your prompt response.
Your faithfully
