The diagrams below shows one method of manufacturing ceramic pots
The diagram gives information about how ceramic pots are manufactured.
In general, there is a total of twelve steps consisting of three main stages collecting raw materials, manufacturing, and finally coloring and decorating the finished product.
Starting off the process, the excavator digs the raw materials out of the ground, and then these materials are delivered to the factory by a truck. After that, the raw material is crushed into small pieces or powder form by beater equipment before being mixed into water and stirred. The resulting mixture is transported by a pipe and poured into a mold that has a pot-shaped left for four to six hours for drying to create assembled clay pots.
The next step is putting clay pots into an oven and heating them at a temperature of 1000 degrees Celcius. The pots are then colored before undergoing color firing to become finished pots and ready to be sold.
