The diagram illustrates the manufacturing process of the most popular convenience food nowadays - instant noodles.
Overall, the production of instant noodles contains eight stages, beginning with storing flour in silos and ending with lablelling and sealing the final products.
At the first stage of the process, the raw material, flour, is put into storage silos, and then it is combined with water and oil in a mixer. After that, the resulting mixture is put onto rollers which are equipped with dough sheets before passing on other rollers with dough strips.
At the fifth stage of the production, noodles discs are used to shape the mixture, after which, it is cooked with oil and dried. Next, noodles and other ingredients such as vegetables and spices, are put together into cups. In the final stage of making instant noodles, these cups undergo the process of brand labelling and are sealed for longer shelf life.
