In a general overview, women spent more minutes performing their daily chores in all categories except repair, whereas men had more leisure minutes in a day than women.
With regards to the leisure activities, both men and women use up their maximum free mins by watching television, video or listening to radio, the former with 137 minutes while the latter with 19. Men preferred sports with 15 mins more than women with 11 mins. In contrast, reading was almost equally preferred by men and women, 18 and 19 mins respectively.
on the other day, Women spent the most average mins by doing cooking and washing, while men spent almost less than half of women spent in this category. In addition to this, cloth washing, and ironing activities consumed more women mins almost two times than men, with 27 and 9 mins respectively. In contrast, repair is the only activity where men consumed their maximum mins in performing daily chores than women.
