Describe the process of fish canning.
The diagram illustrates how the fish is canned. In general, the process involves 15 steps, starting from catching fish to selling it at the supermarket.
To begin with, a fish-catching boat comes to the ocean to catch the freshest fish. Once they have been catched, the fish are freezed at -18 degrees Celsius. Then, they are unloaded at the harbor and transported to the factory for the production process.
When the fish are at the factory, they are weighed and then thawed. Before being steamed, the fish are cut into three main parts: head, body and tail as the preparation step. Next, the fish pieces are cooled down and each piece will be filleted by the workers. After being filleted, some water and oil are added before it is canned. Once the filling step is finished, it is sealed and sterilized before being labeled. The last step is that the can is put in the storage and then loaded onto a truck so as to be despatched to the supermarket, where they are ready for sale.
