This report derives from the presented graphs delineating the expenditure on three types of musical albums by the British citizens according to their gender and life line.
Generally speaking, the lion share of people in Britain preferred to purchase a pop or rock melodies. Even though, most teenagers and young adults accounted for purchasing pop and rock music albums, classical tunes favored most by the oldest age group.
A glance at the graphs reveal that, rock tunes sales was highest among people aged between 16 to 24 years followed by young adults (25 -34) with 32% and 28% respectively. However, in the case of pop music the numbers are quite similar in both age categories with more or less 30%. Although, 35 to 44 aged citizens tend to buy pop albums more than rock. Despite exhibiting the lowest numbers on each of these types of tunes, they were accounted for the greatest spending on classical albums.
In terms of gender, the sales were always superior among men compared to women. Though, the lay-out for classical was almost the same with below 10%, men spent on rock music was almost double than women.
