The three pictures below show three different kinds of bridges.
The diagrams give information about the architectural and structural designs of the three bridges.
Overall, the three bridges are designed according to the water body where they are situated, and thus differ in terms of size and structure.
It can be seen that the arch bridge has abutments anchored at each end side to balance the bridge instead of using piers. The permissible height is no more than 100 meters, and the length is under 200 meters. These bridges are built in the lake, so only small ships are allowed to travel.
The concrete girder bridges have unlimited rows of piers, each of which is spaced at the internals of 200 meters. These bridges are constructed over rivers 300 meters in height, only allowing for medium-sized ships.
The final suspension bridge is erected in deep locations, and suitable for construction in the sea. The erection of a megastructure requires to support of the main towers and suspension cables. Its space is 400-200 meters
