The pie charts illustrate the proportion of industry’s factors of participation to the Turkey economy in the year 2000 and 2016.
Generally speaking, in 2000, agriculture contributed the most to the economy and construction did the least. In contrast, healthcare and education had the highest contribution and the lowest were finance, business and other at the end of the period
In 2000, the percentage of agriculture contribution took up nearly a quarter and reached its highest point. The opposite would be true for construction which accounted for 3%. The figure of agriculture was six times as much as the number for construction. Similarly, manufacturing and finance, business and others had a minor percentage, which were between 5% and 8%.
In the following period, 17% of healthcare contributed to Turkey's economy, followed by trade, utilities (16%). Finance, business had a minor (8%) contribution to the nation's economy. About a tenth of the government and construction’s proportion contributed to the economy of the country.
