Universities should accept equal numbers of male and female students in every subject. To what extend do you agree or disagree?
Some people argue that universities should accept equal numbers of both gender in every major. I strongly disagree with it
To begin with, Qualification should be top of the universities major selection list for choosing students. And universities should give everyone an equal opportunity to apply for his/her favorite subject, after that select the most qualified ones. So the equality in number doesn’t matter as much as equality in qualification
On the other hand, the physical and emotional differences between men and woman have made them suitable for deferent tasks. women are physically weaker and emotionally vulnerable than men, that’s why men are more suitable for masculine jobs like work as a miner or a worker in building company and women because of their abilities of sympathy are more successful in majors related to health issue and mental illnesses.
In conclusion, even though it seems that it is not fair to choose more of a gender in a university major, in some cases, men can be more practical than women and women in some other fields can be more successful
