The given chart depicts how the population has change in two different countries : India and china since 2000 with the prediction to 2050.
What stands out from the chart is that the number of Indian is going to witness a steady progress and it maybe overtake that of China. On the other hand, China’s population is expected to fall in the future of 20 years.
In 2000, people lived in China much more than in India. There were about 1.2 billion of Chinese, while India’s population was accurately 1.0 billion. Over the period of 20 years from 2000, a growth of 0.3 billion was saw in the population of India. The number of Chinese citizens increased by 0.2 billion to reach over 1.4 billion during the same period.
According to the graph, the number of people living in India will have a quicker climb than that of China, and expectations reveal that both this tow nations will gain the same population of 1.45 billion by 2030. After peaking its highest point, China’s population tend to fall slightly back to 1.4 billion , whereas the number of Indian citizens is likely keep on rising and reach 1.6 in the final year.
